Organization is a snap with the storage offered in this stylish tall headboard unit. Not only are these a great way to add storage space to the smaller room where you may have trouble finding room for things, but they're an addition that can bring style to any bedroom. The slanted back design creates a unique presentation that wor5ks with most any type of decor. There are eight storage compartments in a variety of sizes which give you lots of room for keeping your personal and decorative items. This unit is available in a Midnight Black Laminate or a rich looking simulated wood finish in a dark color the manufacturer calls Espresso. While the unit might be used with any bed frame it also works well with Prepac's line of storage beds.

This headboard is just the ticket for my small bedroom which has little in the way of storage space. With the help of a friend this unit goes together easily. It also looks great, my family and friends have made a number of positive comments about the headboard's appearance.

The only issue I have is that when I teamed the headboard with the matching twelve drawer bed it came out covering the lower portion of the headboard where the picture frames are depicted in the stock photograph. This might be due to the fact that I used a standard mattress without a box spring rather than a slim memory foam mattress.

There are three things that may be useful to note:

1. Use care when placing the screws in the top piece as they are a bit too long so that you have to be careful to avoid putting unattractive bumps in the finish of your unit.

2. You will need to cut your own holes to accommodate any electrical cords you want to run through the unit.

3. You need to supply your own mounting screws to attach the headboard to your bed frame, they are not included in the unit's hardware. Aside from this, I find this to be a quite nice furniture item and I am happy the I purchased it.
